A Path of Nature is a photography blog where we contribute photos, related to all things nature, taken during our daily (or weekly) walks at various places. Our vision is to capture God's wonderful creations in all its glory and majesty and immortalize the beauty of that moment in photography images and share it with everyone!

The Idea

This idea was perceived on the 29th December 2006 (Wednesday). It was during a early morning jog that led to a hike in Singapore's well known Bukit Timah Hill where Daniel and James thought of taking snapshots of their route up to the submit of the hill.

The thought evolved further and they decided to create a blog to share the images and at the same time raise funds through online advertisements. Using what they had with them at that time (a small camera phone), they started immediately and thus A Path of Nature was born.

The Founders

A Path of Nature was founded by Daniel and James.

Daniel Richard is a 21 year old guy who at that time was waiting to be enlisted for National Service. He had recently graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in IT Mobile Computing. His role is to deal with the technical and administrative aspects of this project, from coming out with the template, to creating the accounts required for the advertisement program, and also to get the image hosting required for the team to upload the photographs.

James Yeo Yiquan, 16, had just completed his N levels in Yusof Ishak Secondary School and at that time was enjoying his year end break before heading back for another year to finish his O levels. He is involved in the decisions making regarding this project and would be taking on the majority of the workload once Daniel enters National Service. He is also taking on the role of a photographer and the marketing of this blog.
